My Approach
I believe birth is physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental and the way you are supported matters.
With my background as an athlete and my work with women, I bring a unique perspective:
Training your body to work with labor, not against it
Building mental resilience and trust in yourself
Creating a calm, supportive environment where you can actually let go
This isn’t about a “perfect” birth. It’s about feeling strong, informed, and supported no matter how your birth unfolds.
Who I Work With
Anyone who wants a more supported, intentional birth experience
First-time moms who want guidance and confidence
Women seeking a natural or low-intervention birth
Athletes or active women who want to stay connected to their bodies
Where strength meets motherhood
The first words I think of while describing my family's experience with Luna Bruno is "our angel on Earth". I was fortunate enough to meet Luna while she was training to become a Midwife at a birth center I was receiving care at for a few weeks. Life had some hiccups and I no longer had any prenatal care at all. I immediately knew that if I wasn't going to have a Dr./Midwife by my side, I 100% needed a woman who can help me connect with every bit of strength I had in me to get through what I was about to experience. Beginning to end Luna tailored not only to my husband and I's needs, but she also tailored her work style and ethic around who we are as people. She took thoughtful time understanding our mindsets, concerns, and lifestyle to translate them all into the care she provided throughout our journey. No matter who you are, if your goal is to channel your upmost STRENGTH pre/post natal, Luna is the woman to help empower you through it all. There was not one single moment where we felt unsupported, alone, unsure, or not advocated for properly. My favorite part about working with Luna was knowing that this is not just some job title for her, this is who she is, you can feel the passion for her work threaded into every part of her honest work. Both my husband and I (+my new little baby if he could type) would 1000% recommend Luna Bruno as your Doula.

my birth journey
I became a mother through an unmedicated home birth attended by a midwife — an experience that transformed the way I see strength, femininity, and the body.
Bringing my child into the world naturally showed me that motherhood is not weakness — it is one of the most powerful, embodied experiences a woman can live through.
I found powerlifting when my daughter turned 6 months old. I discovered I had an uptapped strength that I needed to dive into. I became an elite powerlifter in just 2 years. When my daughter was 4, I became a bench National Champion and competed for Team USA in Norway. I turned out to be the 10th best bench presser in the world at my weight class.
As both an athlete and mother, I now help women reconnect to their bodies, move through motherhood with support and confidence, and feel strong in every season of becoming.
I am currently a student-midwife and work in a nearby birth center where I get to be part of the real, day-to-day work of supporting physiological birth and caring for families in an intentional way.
LET’S WORK TOGETHER
Luna is STRONG. When you see her you'll know. She is the kind of care provider you can trust. I speak on behalf of my wife and I. She was so thorough throughout our prenatals, birth, and postpartum visits. I, as a man, was clueless before meeting her. She gave us so much information and built our confidence as a couple and as parents. She is an athlete and has workout plans /nutrition imbedded in her services. We were set up for success and cannot thank her enough! Now my wife is on the road to recovery after an amazing unmedicated natural birth and our son is so precious! It is quite an adjustment to one day be parents with a newborn, but Luna prepared us and gave us many resources. If you want a birth experience that is filled with strength, love, and intention, you must choose Luna!

I’m so grateful for the support I received from Luna. She spent time with me both virtually and at home and was always patient, kind, and reassuring. She taught me helpful breastfeeding and latching techniques and provided great resources for nursing and caring for my baby. I felt much more confident and prepared because of her support. Highly recommend her to any new mom!

Luna is everything you could possibly want in a doula. She's incredibly knowledgeable in her field, has invaluable firsthand experience with multiple natural deliveries and can speak to her own personal experience with home birth. She gives great insight and advice and makes you feel very comfortable and supported. In speaking with Luna, you always feel heard, respected and emotionally validated, which is so important for any new mom, especially with how vulnerable we are in pregnancy and childbirth. She's also truly dedicated to her clients and always willing to answer questions and provide reassurance. Highly recommend.
